This project arose from a common will to pull out from their ultramarine confidentiality the works of these singular artists, for most of which it will be the first exhibition in Paris.

We chose to show these works because they are surprising, because they evoke not only the personal, political or historical context in which they were produced, but respond in an impulsive, obsessive or sometimes discreet way to a genuine necessity.

These works are dense, silent, contained; they are worlds in which each needs to find his own way.

*Albertine de Galbert has been in charge of production and co artistic direction for the documentary-films series “L’Art et la Manière, portrait of the artist” during three years. She contributed to produce more than sixty 26-minutes portraits of contemporary artists. During the year 2009, she developed a research project on Latin American contemporary art.
